FINISH THE COURSE

2 Timothy 4:7 - “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith”.

Our life is a course. God chooses the course but we choose how we go through the course. That is, God chooses what we go through but we choose how we go through it. Be strong, those who have many battles to fight and who are on their way to the Kingdom. Therefore, be strong for service, be strong for fighting and be strong for suffering. We must fight the good fight. We must fight it out and finish the course. The beginner is not the owner but the finisher. In this world of distraction, it is very easy to get off track and lose focus.

The love of this world is often the cause of turning back from the truth and away from Jesus Christ. Every day we keep struggling with the oppositions of the powers of darkness and we have many enemies to fight, who will keep us from God and Heaven. As Christian soldiers, we have a Captain to fight for - Jesus, a banner to fight under – the name of Jesus. We must devote our whole spirit to and employ them in the services of God. Fight the good fight and finish the course and receive the crown of the believers, the crown of righteousness purchased by the righteousness in Christ Jesus.

PRAYER: Lord, Jesus Christ, strengthen my heart and determination to fight the good fight and finish the course, in Jesus’ name.
