Merry Christmas

Hi everyone,

It's such a blessing that we get to celebrate Christmas 2012. We all know that so much has happened in this year, but we have one option, and that is to thank God for everything and in everything.

God gave me new friends and along the way I became distant from other friends for one reason or the other. But all in all I love everyone of my friends and those that became my enemies (even though i don't consider them as enemies..i just call it a moment of silence between us..i still got mad love for them).

I wish you all a wonderful and merry CHRISTMAS

I pray that God hears all our prayers on this wonderful day.

When You Feel Powerless

Posted by Victoria Osteen on 12/11/2012

At some point in life, we all face situations and challenges that can make us feel powerless. Maybe something happened and you can't see a way out, or you just don't see how things can change, so you sit back and throw your hands up waiting to see what will happen. But the truth is, as believers we are never powerless. We never have to just give up! In fact, God has given us a limitless reservoir of power on the inside of us. And scripture tells us that it's the same power that raised Jesus from the dead—the same power that created the universe, the same power that parted the red sea, that healed the sick and raised the dead is living in us through the Holy Spirit. All we have to do is activate that power by the words we speak. Proverbs 18 says that "life and death are in the power of the tongue." And He gave us that power for a reason.

I have the cutest little dogs at home that I love so much, but they can't talk. They weren't given the power and authority that we were given. God created all kinds of wonderful creatures, but He gave mankind dominion, power and authority. We should always be evaluating how we are using that power in our lives. You have the power to create or destroy with the words of your mouth. You can declare victory over your future, or you can declare defeat. The Bible tells us that our tongue is like a rudder on a great big ship that charters mighty waters. The rudder is very small, but it can turn that great big ship in a completely different direction. The same is true with our tongue. Our tongue is a very small part of our body, but what we say can change the course of our destiny.

When you wake up every morning, choose to set your life on a course of victory. Realize that you are not powerless! Declare what God says about your future. Activate His limitless power on the inside by saying, "Today is a day of victory for me! I am strong in the Lord and the power of His might. No weapon formed against me shall prosper. I walk in favor. I am full of purpose. All my needs are met. I have a divine destiny to fulfill, and I am moving forward into the abundant life God has prepared for me!"

"The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit." (Proverbs 18:21, NIV)
