Morning y'all,
As i was driving to work this morning i tuned to Clouds fm radio and this is what i stumbled upon - News on Fastjet. Basically this soft spoken lady called Joy if i'm not mistaken, who works for Fastjet was explaining about the routes Fastjet will be taking, i.e DAR-KIA (twice a day) and DAR-MWANZA (twice a day). This flight is majorly labeled as "the most affordable flight " (from random people). She mentioned the starting price for a one way ticket is Tsh. 32,000/- (Tanzanian Shilling Thirty Two Thousand Only), exclusive of VAT. The govt VAT is Tsh. 11,000/-. And you will also be required to pay for your 20kgs check in luggage - Tsh8,000/- and for every 1kg exceeding 20kgs will be charged Tsh. 8,000/- per kg.
These guys have done a good job of advertising these flights..especially now that we are approaching the holiday season. Wachaga wote meno 32 nje!!!!
