I have a habit of rewatching old series and movies because I feel I might have missed something important when I first watched them years ago. Revisiting them now often provides a new perspective and a better understanding. For example, I loved the sci-fi series EUREKA when it aired in the late 2000s. I watched it again in the mid-2010s and recently in 2023. It's fascinating how technology that was purely fictional back then is now part of our everyday lives.
Similarly, DEMOLITION MAN was one of my favorite movies in the 90s. Rewatching it last year, I was struck by how much of the imagined technology has become reality. Technology has always been integral to our lives; it just wasn't as accessible as it is now. With AI becoming increasingly prevalent, I'm curious about how others are using it to their advantage.
I started using ChatGPT when it first became popular and found it quite useful. I'm almost fully dependent on Grammarly for my writing. Recently, I discovered Leonardo.AI and am hooked on the AI-generated images, which I find incredibly useful for my work. Did you know you can edit real photos using AI in software like Adobe Photoshop?
While AI can be incredibly helpful, I sometimes wonder if it's making us lazy. However, I believe that as long as I continue to read, learn, and engage in daily activities, my brain will stay active. AI does make mistakes that a human might not, but it's still in its early stages. Let's give it another ten years and see just how beneficial or detrimental it turns out to be.
