“So Jesus answered and said to them, ‘Have faith in God’ ” (Mark 11:22).
When you have faith in God, you will want to know what God says about
all situations. If you are sick, instead of asking for healing, you will
want to know the position of God concerning your headache. If you are
blessed, you will want to know the opinion of God concerning your
wealth. If you are troubled, you will want to know the opinion of God
concerning that trouble because God sometimes uses foolish things. In
every situation, God has something to say. Even when He seems to be
quiet, He is still saying something. That headache may be to stop you
awhile in order to prepare you for the journey ahead. That poverty may
be to stop you awhile in order to prepare you for the challenges ahead.
You must pray in faith. If you say you have faith in God, you must
eat in faith. If you say you have faith in God, you must sleep in faith.
If you say you have faith in God, you must look in faith and when you
pray in faith, even when the circumstance seems unfavourable, you will
not despair, murmur or grumble, rather you will pray the more. When
there is faith, there is a strong desire to pray more, even in the face
of difficulty.
