Another long weekend
The best thing about the month of April is the Easter holiday. This weekend is just the best. I mean, we get enough time to go to church, enough time to sleep, enough time to spend enjoying quality time with family and friends...what more can we ask for?
Have a lovely Easter weekend, be good this weekend and let your deeds reflect God's love for you that He sent His only Son Jesus Christ to die for you and give you a chance to have an everlasting life in heaven.

It is well with my soul
The song "It Is Well With My Soul" was written by a successful Christian lawyer Heratio Spafford. His only son died at age 4 in 1871. In 1872, the great Chicago fire wiped out his vast estate, made from a successful legal career. In 1873 he sent his wife & 4 daughters over to Europe on a summer trip on the ill fated SS Ville du Havre. Since he had a lot of work to do, he planned to follow them later. The Ship sank and he lost his 4 daughters with the wife being the only survivor. She sent him a famous telegram which simply read, "SAVED ALONE...." On his return home, his Law firm was burned down and the insurance company refused to pay him. They said "It's an Act of God". He had no money to pay for his house and no work, he also lost his house. Then while sitting and thinking what's happening to him, being a spiritual person, he wrote a song - "Whatever, my Lord, You have taught me to say - It is well, it is well with my soul". My dear friend, a good attitude will determine your altitude. When you look at your life, career, job or family life, what do you say? Do you praise God? Do you blame the devil? A good attitude towards God makes Him move on your behalf. Just sit down and say, "Today, God, it is well with my soul, I am thankful I had a peaceful sleep, I am thankful I am alive with possibilities, I am thankful I have a roof over me, I am thankful I have a job, I am thankful that I have Family and Friends. Above all, I am thankful that I have the Lord Jesus Christ on my side." Be blessed and don't be envious or shocked when others are prospering because you don't know what they have been through to get there (test, trials and tribulation) so thank God for what you have. "Little is much when God is in it. It Is Well With My Soul!"
LONG WEEKEND AHEAD
Heeeeeey, how's the going my good people?
WHO else is looking forward to a long weekend, like moi? Funny thing is, my body automatically behaved as if today is Friday. I had such a hard time waking up in the morning. I did everything super slow (as I always do on Fridays), then I realized we are going to have a long weekend this time around. WHOOP WHOOP! Happy Karume Day my good people. And use your weekend effectively. One thing that I look forward to is heavy rains on Friday and no rain AT ALL on Saturday (Coz we need to have a very dry Meet n' Mingle session). It can rain again on Sunday, and the rest of next week :) except for Good Friday, Saturday and Easter Sunday. I need those days to be DRY and Sunny.

With a gathering of
About 30 people.
I sat in the front seat.
A Lady started distributing food.
She started from
The back and unfortunately,
It didn't get to us who were sitting at the front.
Another Lady started
Sharing the Drinks,
She started from
The front.
But unfortunately
I had
Already moved
To sit At The Back.
Again
The drink
Didn't get to me.
I was
So furious that
I stood up
To take my leave.
But then
I saw
Three ladies
Each with A Big Bowl.
This time,
I tried to Be Smart.
I Sat Right
At the Middle.
One of the Ladies
Started the sharing
From the Front,
The Second Lady
Started
Distributing from
The back.
The Two Ladies were
Sharing Roasted Chicken.
When
They got
To the middle,
Where I was seated,
It got finished again!
Feeling So frustrated,
I Bent My Head,
Putting My Face
In My Hands...
But Then
The Third Lady
Tapped me
And
Stretched Her Bowl
For Me To Pick.
Joyfully I Stretched
And
Put My Hands
Inside The Bowl...
