GOUAH...GOA.

hey, 

so january this year, i gave myself a treat to Goa, after a long two weeks of exams. I left Mysore on 11th at about 15hours 30, and reached Goa (Panaji) at 6 30something A.M, it was a looooong bus ride but i was so excited to have my feet in the sand that i cared less about the hours i had to endure in that bus. Spent 4 days in Goa and i had to make sure that i do all the things/activities that i didn't get to do last year (jauary 2011). The first thing i did when i got to Calangute was check into the hotel, leave my bags and head to the beach..seeing the sun rise at the beach was an amazing sight that i'd really missed (since Zanzibar)..anywho, it was all good until i started falling asleep, so i went back to the hotel and slept like a baby..i had really missed being in a normal 6x6 bed (cosy me)..lol.

 

All i did the first day was sleep, eat, watch the sunset, enjoy the breeze, watch the tides, walk in the sand (a lot) and sleep some more. Day two was busy, i FINALLY took a bus to Mapusa to book my return ticket and see the Friday Market (cheap stuff too, yaaay, mpaka wazungu walisagula mitumba, kwe kwe kwe)...and there's this ka-restaurant which i HAD to eat at coz i really like their mixed rice (it has prawns, chicken, mutton, beef, who knows what else). The second best thing i wanted to do was WALK FROM BAGA TO CALANGUTE..i managed to do the walk...yaaay, it was tiring, not so scary really, even though it was at 10pm, i stopped by DOMINOS PIZZA and had me a medium Chicken Golden Delight -MEDIUM yuummmyyy..lol. and lots of night shopping.

 

3rd day was awesome, coz i swam, had me a good back massage (cheap and awesome). walked A LOT, 

tried taking pix..saw some weird ISH btw...leave alone the whole "HIIII" "WHERE ARE YOU FROM" "I LIKE YOUR HAIR" etc etc..i played some beach sports like Jet ski, Parasailing..bla bla bla..at about 9p.m i walked half way to baga, then took a bike ride to the NIGHT MARKET, i hated the fact that i didn't take my camera with me, i really missed some good shots (sob sob) :(..went back to baga and had me a nice time at Hype Club then went back to bed and slept like a farmers donkey.

Day four was heartbreaking, went to see the dolphins, as my last day. spoke to some fishermen, saw how they got fish out the net, some of them were actually alive, saw how they gasp for air, and finally went on to the other side..(u know what i mean)..i almost went VEG..sob sob. so bla bla bla..all in all i had to leave that day and i did. ENd of story.

this dude kept telling me to touch oh actually to hold the cobra and put it on my neck..like hell i was...i would have been shaken for months..yikes.

some very spicy meal...but nice

PS; i don't like mentioning the people i meet on my trips unless they know amma write about them..(smile)
