THERE IS NO GREATER BEAUTY THAN THE REAL YOU Natural Hair Inspiration ~ Do You Dare to Be Different?

When I first met my husband, my hair was short and natural, just like in this picture. He loved the natural me. Then I got sidetracked with braids and weaves just like so many other women out there. But, thank God for my husband who constantly reminded me how beautiful I am when I wear my natural hair. He always makes me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world. So, I finally got the courage to do the big chop and start transitioning from relaxer to my natural curls. I now look like the woman he first fell in love with... (you should have seen his face when he first saw me...he was so happy and excited that I finally granted his wish ~ lots of XOXO) ...And you know what? I think he was right all along. "I am not my hair, I am not my skin, I am a soul that lives within" ~my beauty is not defined by the length or the texture of my hair. Hence, I want to give honor to God. I praise Him, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are His works; my SOUL knows it very well. ~Psalm 139:14. Without further ado, I would like to give a shout out to all my girls who have remained true to themselves and have inspired me to do the same. One Love (~_~) Peace!
